Honey Singh Gets Accused Of Kidnapping And Assaulting The Owner Of An Event Management Company; Complaint Has Been Filed- REPORTS

Rapper Yo Yo Honey Singh, who rose to fame in the early 2010s for his blockbuster music, is making a comeback for the third time. As he gears up for the release of his new album, it seems like the musician has found himself in legal trouble. It is being reported by media publications that an FIR has been filed against him by an event management company, Vivek Raman, at the BKC police station in Mumbai.
As reported by India TV, Raman has accused Singh of kidnapping him, holding him captive and assaulting him. It is being said that the complainant had organised Yo Yo Honey Singh's Festivina programme, which he decided to cancel on April 15th after facing issues with money transactions. The reports state that angered by the cancellation of his program, Honey and a few of his associates kidnapped Vivek. It is being reported that not only did they hold him captive at a hotel in Sahar, Mumbai, but they had proceeded to abuse him. An FIR has been filed against the 40-year-old musician and his colleagues, and the complainant has demanded his arrest. Honey Singh has yet to officially respond to the complaint. On the work front, Honey is currently busy churning out his new album after being inactive for the last few years. He had made the headlines recently when he released the remixed version of Urmila Mantondkar’s iconic song Yai Re from the film Rangeela (1990). He featured in the song alongside Iulia Vantur. He will also be seen in a documentary based on his life which will be directed by Guneet Monga and streamed on Netflix later in 2023.
